Kelvix Community Guidelines

Kelvix gets better every time someone adds a product it didn't know yet. Everyone who scans that product afterwards relies on what was added - sometimes to avoid an allergen. These guidelines keep that information trustworthy. They apply to everything you add or report in Kelvix, and to how you use Kelvix Coach.

1. Adding products

• Only add a product you actually have in front of you, using photos of its own packaging.
• Check what Kelvix read from the label before you save it, and correct only what was read wrong. Never change values to make a product look healthier or worse than its label says.
• Use the product's real name as printed on the package.
• Photograph only the product's packaging - not people, other people's personal information, or anything unrelated.

Product information that doesn't match what Kelvix read from the package is held for review before anyone else sees it.

2. Not allowed

• False, misleading or made-up product information
• Advertising, promotion or attacks on brands disguised as product information
• Offensive, hateful, sexual or otherwise inappropriate text or images
• False reports, or reporting products to get correct information hidden
• Automated or bulk use of Kelvix, or attempts to get around its daily limits
• Using Kelvix Coach to try to produce harmful, dangerous or unlawful content

3. Reporting

If a product's information is wrong or inappropriate, use “Report a problem” on that product. A product added by a user is hidden automatically once several different people have reported it, until we have reviewed it.

4. Enforcement

We review reports and products held for review. Depending on what happened, we may correct, hide or remove product information, and block a device from adding or reporting products. Serious or repeated violations can lead to a block without prior warning.

5. Appeals

If you believe something was hidden or blocked by mistake, contact us at hello@avdalyan.world and we'll review it.

6. Changes

We may update these guidelines as Kelvix grows. We'll update the “Last updated” date above.
